Grade: Moderate / suitable for beginner climbers

Day 1:  Cebollapampa - Pisco Base Camp.

This day we start our climbing program; meet our arrieros with their donkeys who transport our gear, climb up  on a well market trail to Pisco Base Camp (4,650m ) for our overnight camping 2 ½ to 3 hours.

 Day 2: Base Camp – Moraine Camp 2.

A challenging day because we have to ascend through the moraine field as we continue to our next stop to Morena Camp 4900m 3 hours.
 
Day 3: Moraine Camp - Pisco Summit - Base camp

An early start; after breakfast we begin around 2:00 AM to ensure that we capture the prime snow conditions. Climb for approximately 4 to 5 hours reaching. Pisco summit we have beautiful views in all directions capturing incredible photos of the surrounding peaks. After a short period at Pisco’s summit we descent down to our base camp where we will stay the night. Approximately 10 to 12 hours during day.

Day 4: Base Camp -  Cebollapampa - Huaraz.
An easy day; pack up camp and descend down to the winding road at Cebollapampa  1 ½  hours, then return  back to Huaraz.
