Guided Hike to Pisco Base Camp and Lake 69
This special hike takes you to the most breath-taking section of the Cordillera Blanca mountain range. We spend the night at the well-known Mount Pisco Base Camp where the lodge is located. And the magnificent views of the pristine, white-capped spiraling peaks surround you. On the second day we hike to the beautiful turquoise color Laguna 69 which is located just below the high mountain peaks of both Mount Pisco and Mount Chacraraju.

Day 1: Huaraz / Cebollapampa / Pisco Base Camp
After breakfast at your hotel we pick you up in our private transportation by 7:30 AM and drive two and a half hours to the start of the Llanganuco Valley then continue our drive up this beautiful valley to reach Cebollapampa at 3900m/12,795ft where we begin our hike up to the Mount Pisco Base Camp. You’ll hike with only with a light backpack carrying what is needed for one night along with appropriate clothes and snacks. This hike will take us about 3 hours of steep ascending while we hike at a steady but slow pace until we reach the Mount Pisco base camp at 4572m/15,000ft which will be our home at lodge for a night.

Hiking up to Pisco Base Camp
Day 2: Pisco Base Camp / Laguna 69 / Cebollapampa / Huaraz
This day we hike to Laguna 69 where you will have a great day enjoying awesome views and fun hiking. There is a nice trail that traverses the valley from the Mount Pisco Base Camp to Laguna 69. Laguna 69 is a magical blue lake sitting directly beneath the towering south face of Chacraraju Oeste (west) (6145m/20,160ft). We will spend the day hiking to the lake and back down to Cebollapampa where our private transportation waits to drive us back to Huaraz
