Timing: 5 days/4 nights
Grade: Easy /Medium
Inkaland Journeys is fluent in Andean adventure and we have designed this special version 5 day trek of the Cordillera Huayhuash for our clients who are time limited but still seek to capture the unparallel beauty and spirit of this treasured Andes mountain range. The 5 day trek route includes some of the most dramatic scenery to be witnessed and photographed in the Cordillera Huayhuash. Together we’ll cross two passes, one of them the Sambuya Pass at 4750m/15,584ft, with a vantage position that holds some of the most stunningly unforgettable views within the Huayhuash circuit. On the final evening of this 5 day circuit, your camp site is set-up on the banks Laguna Jahuacocha, one of the Cordillera Huayhuash’s most exceedingly special places for its majestic views of the largest mountains in the range. A prerequisite however, is to be well acclimatized since we ascend high fast.
